German WW2 era 20-40 x 80 Binoculars: These adjustable Zeiss Binoculars were used by ground crews for spotting and identifying enemy aircraft as well as long distance observation and in a naval setting. Presented here is a rare adjustable set of binoculars, manufactured by Carl Zeiss Jena . They have exceptional optics, and have a zoom function, where set magnification of 20 x and 40x can be achieved easily and slight increments in between. The 20-40 indicating the degree of magnification and the 80 indicating the 8 cm optic width. They have been professionally stripped, restored and serviced before being hand polished and mounted on a modern and bespoke high quality cradle with wood and polished metal fully adjustable tripod stand. The approx measurements for the binoculars are 60cm long, 20cm across and 10cm high.
