This beautiful vintage Piaget dress watch is fitted with a manual movement and features a striking bark finish dial and case. With immediate and obvious 1970s appeal, we date this watch to approximately 1975. The watch will be presented in a Vintage and Prestige presentation box and has been time tested.

History
Piaget was founded in 1874 and has become especially recognised as one of the leading manufacturers of thin dress watches, fitted with manual, automatic and quartz movements. Piaget watches produced during the 1970s come with fancy dials and highly complex and innovative manual wind movements evoking the style of films such as Casino. In the 1980s Piaget watches were popular as executive watches, such as the Polo, and referenced in Planes Trains and Automobiles as Steve Martin’s choice.
