Vertex Revue 9k

Our vintage and very attractive Vertex Revue features a 9k yellow gold (375) 34mm case (inc crown) and is powered by a manually wound movement. A new suede strap has been fitted with generic steel buckle. Of note, this example was a presentation watch, and is engraved FW Watts 20 years service Firestone Service 3rd April 1970 and comes complete with original box including supplying dealer sticker Fenn & Sons Isleworth as well as original guarantee papers dated 3rd April 1970 and stamped and signed by Fenn & sons as well as stapled attachment with warranty extension. The overall condition of this Vertex is outstanding, it has clearly been a cherished piece. Of note, Firestone Tyre and Rubber Company built their UK headquarters in Brentford, London, in 1928 and remained there until 1979. The supplying jeweller, Fenn & Sons of 483 London Road Isleworth were located some 2 miles from the Firestone HQ and we would expect them to have supplied all long service gifts of this type. Included with this set is an expanding Excalibur 71 gold tone bracelet, which is what this watch came to us with.
