Sicura Globetrotter GMT

Our vintage Sicura Globetrotter features a 41mm stainless steel case (44mm inc crown) with rotating blue/ red bezel and powered by a 23 jewel manually wound movement. The idea of the Globetrotter GMT was to provide multiple timezones for pilots or business use; the five hands on the dial offering home, GMT (London) time , New York time , minutes and seconds, the rotating bezel being set to alternative locations. This Globetrotter is fitted to a tropic strap. Overall, the condition is very good, there are signs of use overall, the dial and hands coevally patinated and presenting for a very attractive vintage sports watch. We date prodcution to c. 1974. Neither box nor papers are present, a presentation pouch is included.
