Our example of the ever popular blue dial Rolex Submariner 16613 in yellow gold and steel is presented in outstanding unpolished condition, and comes complete with box and card showing a sale date 2010 from Goldsmiths UK. Our example features the desirable solid end links, gold through the clasp and RRR Rolex re-engraved rehaut as would be expected on a M serial Rolex Submariner 16613.

History
Introduced in 1953, the Submariner is undeniably the most recognisable Rolex product. Originally designed for deep sea diving, the Submariner has a committed following for its elegant style combined with a robust case. The turnable bezel is a tool for measuring time whilst under water (or parking meters) and the oversized crown adds extra impermeability to the screw down feature which defines the oyster models. This model is fitted with a flip lock divers extension to the bracelet to enable to watch to be worn over a wetsuit.
