Our neo-vintage Rolex GMT Master 16700 is a complete set, comprising outer box with 16700 sticker attached, inner, box, GMT Master instructions, Your Rolex instructions, green wallet with translation booklet and calendar, two swing tags (green with serial sticker and red chronometer) as well as original warranty papers, dated August 1992 and retailed by a UK authorised Rolex dealer as well as spare link. Presented in outstanding condition, unpolished prior to sale and with a beautifully patinated bezel insert in red/ blue (pepsi). The stainless steel 40mm case is strong and there is only a little stretch to the oyster bracelet (without flip lock). The dial is original tritium with attractive patina, the hands are service replacement. A wonderful thirty year old Rolex, with 1992 papers and a N Serial, indicating production late 1991/ early 1992. Amazing to think a pepsi GMT would sit unsold for more than a day in a dealer window, once upon a time! A perfect investment piece and suitable for daily use.
