Our vintage and very rare Rolex Datejust Turn-o-graph reference 16253 aka the Thunderbird features a 36mm stainless steel case with rotating 18k yellow gold bezel and 18k yellow gold and stainless steel jubilee bracelet and plexiglass. This particular Turn-o-graph has its original black dial T swiss made T with coeval hands and light patination. The rotating bezel, designed for short time measurements, in minutes or seconds, retains its strong bark markings and this example is presented in excellent condition with some signs of use overall, the bracelet has notable stretch (but plenty of life left) overall to be expected give its age. A discontinued reference, this vintage Rolex Datejust dates from circa 1987 with a R **** serial. Neither original box nor papers are present, a presentation pouch will be included at point of sale. A superb and eminently collectible and rare reference from Rolex's back catalogue.
