Our vintage Rolex Date reference 1500 is presented in outstanding condition and completeness given its age. Distinguishing features include the rare original porcelain white dial, original rivet bracelet and strong case. A complete set, our example has a 17**** serial dating production to 1968, which corresponds to the chronometer certificate which accompanies the watch, as well as inner and outer box (the outer bears a sticker with reference and dealer written serial) as well as warranty papers from Singapore, retailed in 1970. Our example also has the period Rolex Oyster booklet. This is a superb addition to any serious collection (having just come from one) and is one of the best Rolex watches we have handled from the 1960s and 1970s.
