Rolex Air-King 5500

Our vintage Rolex Air-King reference 5500 features a 34mm stainless steel case with stainless steel Oyster bracelet and silver dial, making for a very classical combination. This Air-King is presented in excellent condition, serviced and lightly polished with new Plexiglass fitted. This a R9 *** serial watch, which would indicate production in late 1987. Included is its inner and outer box with 5500 sticker, 1988/9 calendar, Your Rolex Oyster booklet, Rolex service receipt dated 1994, delivered to London UK, warranty papers stamped Leslie Davis, Bromley Kent with date of sale handwritten May 1989, as well as where the Montre no. (serial) should be. The date there is crossed out and the reference (i.e. 5500) written over. The serial is not handwritten on the papers. These Air-Kings offer great understated usability, great value at an accessible price point, especially in this condition.
