The Rolex Air-King reference 116900, launched in 2016 and discontinued in 2022 is also known as the "Bloodhound" as the dial design was similar to the Rolex provided the instruments for the Bloodhound land speed challenger. Featuring a 40mm case in stainless steel with stainless steel bracelet, the dial with classical Rolex colours and flight inspired indices. A superb and under the radar sports Rolex, evocative of the Air-Kings aviation roots, this example is presented in excellent condition with only light signs of use, the clasp sticker still in place. Included is its inner and outer box, swing tag with serial, green swing tag, instructions as well as wallet with warranty card dated 2017, retailed by a UK authorised Rolex dealer as well as redacted copy of the original sales receipt. A worthy addition to any collection, this would also make a very legible daily wearer.
