Our vintage and rare Patek Philippe Calatrava, reference 3520 features a 32mm (without crown) round 18k yellow gold case with attractive dark grey sunburst dial and white serif roman numerals, original Calatrava cross crown and unusually, a screw down caseback; powered by an eighteen jewel manually wound movement. Presented in outstanding condition for its age, this is the quintessential midcentury modern dress watch, we date production to the early 1960s. A quality leather strap is fitted with generic gold tone tang buckle. Neither box nor papers are present, unsurprising given the age. Deeply understated and with this rare dial, our Calatrava would make a brilliant addition to a serious collection and could likely be the only dress watch the next custodian would ever need.
