Our vintage and rare Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch, reference 145.0022 with manual winding movement (cal 861) is a limited edition, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the moon landing and was introduced, accordingly, in 1989. 4000 pieces were made for the world market, unnumbered, but with Apollo XI 1969 to the side of the case. Our example was originally retailed on a leather strap and is fitted now with a new suede vintage style strap and steel tang buckle . Presented in very good condition with light signs of use overall, our example benefits from its original hands, dial (T Swiss Made T), plexiglass and bezel insert with dot next to 90. Our example also comes with neither original box nor papers but with an official Omega extract from the archives, detailing a sale date in december 1989 in Hong Kong. Our rare vintage Omega Speedmaster offers everyday practicality with a beautifully patinated appearance. This Speedmaster has a 482**** serial indicating it was amongst the last Apollo XI s manufactured.
