A quite exceptional piece, our Omega Speedmaster limited edition is number 50 of only 57 examples in yellow gold, produced in 2007, to celebrate 50 years of the Omega Speedmaster. The movement is an exclusive calibre 3201 co-axial manual wind which is chronometer certified, and can be seen through the sapphire glass of the display back. The case is 18k yellow gold, as is the bezel and bracelet. The dial is of handmade black enamel especially made for this limited edition and numbered individually. Our example is number 50. Equally of note is the presentation box which accompanies our Omega. Handmade marquetry covers the exterior: simply put, stunning. Inside, there is a full Omega watchmaker set, including screwdrivers, loupe, polishing cloth by Naldi as well as a black leather strap with 18k Omega deployant clasp which can be fitted to the watch and an instruction manual is also included. Along with these items, a book on the history of the Speedmaster, a certificate numbering our watch as well as the usual warranty card dated 2007 (sold in the UK), and manuals. The weight of the box and “set” is in excess of 6kg including the card outer box with vintage Omega logo. The set is absolutely breathtaking and the watch itself shows very little sign of wear. We feel that the collectability of this Speedmaster is undisputed but the investment potential is also exceptional. A full "full set".
