Our vintage Omega Speedmaster Day-Date Automatic cal. 1045 (reference ST376.0822) is also known as the "Holy Grail". Named after the late Chuck Maddox called this reference, the 376.0822 so, given its scarcity and his quest to find one. With a production run estimated at just 2000 pieces, finding one in this condition is still rare. Featuring an unpolished case (which shows light signs of use), correct "B2" bezel, correct original 1450 bracelet (showing virtually now stretch) with 808 end links , coevally patinated hands and dial and English day wheel, this would be a worthy addition to any serious collection. Comprising original and again correct inner and outer box, polishing tissue and Mark V cal 1045, our Speedmaster ST376.0822 also comes with an extract from the archives detailing that this watch was produced in 1987 (serial 48 ****** ) and was originally delivered to Switzerland. This must be one of the best Grails out there.
