Notes

Our vintage and very rare Omega Speedmaster reference 105.003 features a 39mm stainless steel case, chronograph with 30 minute and 12 hour recorder is powered by a cal 321 manually wound movement. This reference is also known as the "Ed White" given this reference was worn on 3rd June 1965 during astronaut Ed White's first walk in space (the first Omega in space). Of note, this particular example was produced (according to the extract) on 4th June 1965, just one day after this historic event. This Speedmaster is presented in very good condition, is fully serviced prior to retail and has a lovely original patinated dial with coeval hands and original bezel insert with dot over Ninety. The last of the straight lugs Speedmaster, this example is extremely attractive. We have fitted a new generic leather strap with tang buckle, no doubt this will benefit from a selection of straps as all Speedmasters lend themselves to strap optioning! Included with this lovely vintage Omega is its box, international guarantee (printed March 1965) without serial/ details on the detachable warranty pages (all detached), and an extract from the omega archive which is dated 2019, and details this watch as being produced in June 1965 and originally delivered to Mexico and with bracelet not mentioned, indicating it was likely purchased on leather. This would certainly make a worthy addition to any serious collection.
