Notes
Our vintage and very rare Omega Speedmaster reference 105.003 features a 39mm stainless steel case, chronograph with 30 minute and 12 hour recorder, powered by a cal 321 manually wound movement. This reference is also known as the "Ed White" given this reference was worn on 3rd June 1965 during astronaut Ed White's first walk in space (the first Omega in space). This Speedmaster is presented in good condition, serviced prior to retail and has a lovely original patinated dial with coeval hands and original bezel insert with dot over Ninety, albeit scratched and with signs of use overall, a couple of scratches also to the caseabck. The last of the straight lugs Speedmaster, this example is extremely attractive. Whilst a new generic leather strap with tang buckle is fitted, no doubt this will benefit from a selection of straps as all Speedmasters lend themselves to optioning! Neither box nor papers are present, a presentation pouch will be included at point of sale. We date production to c. 1965 given the serial number. This would certainly make a worthy addition to any serious collection.
