Omega Seamaster Chronometer “pre Bond” 368.1051

Our vintage and very rare Omega Seamaster Professional reference 368.1051 is the automatic chronometer certified version of the Seamaster range of the late 1980s/ early 1990s, with cal 1111 movement, the series launched in 1988, with this reference featuring a 38mm stainless steel case and integrated stainless steel bracelet. The range topper of the steel line in period, this is also known as a pre-Bond Omega as it was the series prior to being worn by Pierce Brosnan in Goldeneye. This example is presented in unpolished condition, with signs of use (as intended) overall, and notably its original bezel insert which has faded slightly and the dial and coeval hands have developed a tropical patina, which varies under differing lighting conditions offering a gold dust type appearance. With a 49 ***** serial, we date manufacture to circa 1990. This is unquestionably a very attractive vintage Omega Seamaster, offering superb wearability whilst being robust. Neither box nor papers are present however a presentation pouch will be included at point of sale. Preserving the originality of this watch, no water resistance is guaranteed, as no parts have been changed prior to our listing for sale.
