Notes
Our very rare neo-vintage Omega Seamaster 1/100 chronograph is a reference (386.1231), presented in unworn condition since its 2024 Omega service. Launched in 1988, in order to celebrate the ongoing partnership of Omega as the timekeeper the Calgary and Seoul Olympics/ coinciding with the 150 years anniversary of the Omega company. Omega pulled out all the stops to create a daily wearing precision timer, the 1/100. This is a range topping Seamaster "Polaris" chronograph, and features a technologically advanced (in period) gold and titanium case and bracelet with solid gold through the centre links, impressive 1/100 second timekeeping and split second capability. Reference 386.1231 is a very light and understated watch. We consider this example to be the best on the market, coming to us directly from its first owner and includes: inner and outer box (with significant wear to the inner), wallet with agents list, warranty card (1992/ Switzerland), original sales receipt, import duty to the UK receipt, 1/100 instructions as well as receipt for service (£655/ 2024 so the remainder of the Omega 2 year warranty is in place), as well as service box, and service sticker in place to the case back and detachable service sticker to the case. As close to a new 1/100 possible, zero stretch to the bracelet and presenting a superb 1980s offering for the discerning collector.
