This is an extremely rare limited edition Omega Seamaster Chronograph with impressive timekeeping capabilities for its time. This reference (386.1232) was launched in 1988 , in order to celebrate the partnership of Omega for timekeeping the Calgary and Seoul Olympics, coinciding with the 150 years anniversary of the Omega company. The Seamaster "Polaris" chronograph features a technologically advanced (in period) gold and steel case and bracelet as well as impressive 1/100 second timekeeping and split second capability. Reference 386.1232 differentiated from the more common reference 386.1231 as a limited edition of just 1000 pieces with commemorative Olympic caseback and with gold through the bracelet. A presentation pouch will be included as neither box nor papers are present. This is an extremely rare opportunity for any serious Omega collector, presented in excellent condition with light signs of use overall.
