History
Omega's renowned f300 electronic movement was so named for the frequency of the timing fork. The movement itself was known as the finest electronic movement of its type, and was introduced in the 1970s with a design by Max Hetzel, who famously designed the Bulova Accutron. f300 movements were fitted to the Constellation, Seamaster, De Ville and Geneva as date or day date movements, and modified as a chronograph for the speedsonic.
