Our vintage Omega De Ville with date, reference MD 196.0164 features a 33.5mm heavy gold plated (20 microns) stainless steel case and is powered by a quartz movement. There are light signs of use overall but no major degradation to the gold plated, with exception of the crown, which is the original. These caliber 1332 Omegas have a quirky time setting, hour by crown and minute by pusher. A new generic quality leather strap and tang buckle is fitted. With a 43 **** serial, we date production to c. 1982. This reference was, we understand, in production from 1979 to 1984, making this example a mid production. Neither original box nor papers are present. This is a superb value (and underrated) vintage dress watch, and a very accessible Omega .
