Notes
The Omega Constellation Chronometer was the first Omega to feature an integrated bracelet and case and was the first of the Constellation's "Integral" line. This model, reference 169.047, was introduced in 1969 and is also known as the TV watch, as the shape of the case resembled a period television. Crafted exclusively from heavy solid 18k yellow gold ; case, bracelet and dial (marked OM), our example weighs in excess of 140g, and is presented in outstanding condition, unpolished by us, and with with only light wear to the brushed and lined clasp. The strong case shows little sign of over polishing which is commonly seen on this model. The bracelet will fit a wrist of 195mm and shows virtually zero stretch. Our Omega represents extraordinary value for money given the weight in gold, and reliability of the chronometer movement, and exudes retro luxury. Our example has a 3**** serial dating our example to approx 1971. This model is also known as the "Richard Burton" as the same reference was gifted to Richard Burton by Elizabeth Taylor.
