Longines Gemini II

Our extremely rare and complete vintage Longines Gemini II features a 35 mm x 37 mm case and bracelet in heavy gold plated steel. The Gemini by Longines was the first watch to simultaneously provide a digital time readout in day and night, as the lower red LED lights by pressing the upper button. Presented in outstanding condition, this example has clearly been cherished and must be one of the best avaiable today. Included is its correct box (although missing c clip) as well as instructions with warranty booklet (printed USA) and is blank/ open, with neither retailer name, serial nor date of sale. We date this watch to c. 1976. The Gemini II has been noted as a world first and museum worthy, being a revolutionary design using aviation technology to provide light/ dark time readouts.
