Heuer 2403 Telemetre / Tachymetre

Our vintage Heuer chronograph reference features a 14k yellow gold Swiss case of 32.7mm (34.9 inc crown) by 38mm lug to lug. The dial is an attractive tropically patinated black with gold tone scales and sub dials, featuring tachymetre and telemetre measuring capacity and it is powered by a manually wound Landeron cal. 13 movement. The overall condition is excellent, given the age, we date manufacture to c.1935. A generic leather strap and gold tone buckle are fitted. This is a classically proportioned vintage sports watch, suitable for any collection or use, unusual in precious metal given the aviation / military style. We consider it may have been a commissioned watch when new.
