Our vintage and unusual CWC W10-6645-99 or 'G10" quartz requires little introduction, given it is the British military's issue watch of choice since the 1980s. CWC won the contract to be a W10 watch supplier for the MOD in the early 1970s, when the founder, Ray Mellor, quit a rival company, Hamilton, and established CWC. This example is a rare civilian issue, which we date to c. 1998, likely issued via NAAFI, for non combat troops. A new canvas strap has been fitted, the 36mm case (38mm inc crown) being ideal for daily use. A wonderful and rare, original CWC, at a very attractive price point.
