Our manually wound, vintage ladies Cartier Tank Louis , reference 78087 , features an 18k yellow gold (20mm x 28mm) case and is fitted with a new Cartier leather strap to its original tang buckle. This is a superb example of a rare reference, which sat comfortably amongst the finest Cartier watches available in period. The original white dial with Roman numeral and hidden logo along with " Swiss " denotation is also in excellent condition. This particular watch has excellent provenance and benefits from a full 2022 service at Cartier ( including a new leather strap ) at over £700, and the balance of the manufacturer's 2 year service warranty. A redacted copy of the service quote and estimate is included. Also present is a international service repair warranty booklet dated 1997 and stamped showing a service was undertaken by Cartier Beverly Hills, USA. Included is the recent Cartier service pouch, the original box and papers are not present. We date this Cartier Tank Louis to circa 1980s and it is comfortably the best of this reference that we have had the pleasure of handling.
