Our vintage and very complete Cartier Must De Cartier Tortue Alarm Clock ( Pendulette ) features a gold plated brass case with blue enamel metal, powered by a battery operated quartz movement. This example is one of the best we have handled, with no notable wear to the gold plating, just light signs of use, to be expected given its age. The Tortue was arguably the most attractive of the 1980s/ 1990s clocks, measures 74mm x 85mm, making it a wonderful addition for a variety of settings including desk/ commercial, curio or bedroom/ dressing room. This Tortue distinguishes itself by its condition, history and completeness as it is a full set comprising outer and inner correct fitted box, sleeve/wallet with warranty certificate showing it was UK retailed in March 1996, service booklet, instructions for pendulettes, redacted service document (Cartier authorised dealer) 2007, guarantee certificate 2008, authorised dealer service receipt and document 2015/6 and carry bag , and Cartier UK Service January 2026, the remainder of the 24 month warranty is in place, at a cost of £260. Over its 30 years this clearly cherished Cartier clock has benefitted from over £500 maintenance at Cartier. We would anticipate this joining a serious Cartier focussed collection.
