Bucherer Incabloc Chronograph “Siegfried Rauch”

Our vintage and very rare Bucherer Incabloc Chronograph features a 40mm case stainless steel case (inc crown) by 4.5mm lug to lug, with rotating bezel. Powered by a manually wound valjoux 7733 movement, this example notably features a green dial with black sundials, the right having a 5 minute regatta or grand prix style countdown. Esteemed collector Chuck Maddox identified this as the reference worn by actor Erich Stahler as Siegfried Rauch (Steve Mcqueen's/ Michael Delaney's rival) in the 1971 movie Le Mans, albeit with a red not green dial. This is a superb opportunity to add an attractive and lesser known vintage chronograph to a serious motorsport focussed collection. A generic quality green leather strap and steel tang buckle is fitted with only light use. Neither box nor papers are present, a presentation pouch will be included. We date production to c.1970.
