Bremont ALT1-C / SK chronograph Westland Sea King Special Projects

Bremont Special Projects produced very limited edition watches for select military regiments. This ALT1-C chronograph is one of 180 produced, to reflect the number of Sea King helicopters by Westland. These were offered to serving or required personnel on a request basis. This is an issued watch to a RAF member. Based on the established ALT1 C chronongraph with 43mm stainless steel case, this limited edition is distinguished by the image of a Sea King helicopter on the black dial, Sea King on the rotor (visible via the exhibition case back) and is powered by a chronometer certified automatic movement. Included is outer box, leather roll, screwdriver, used canvas straps, card wallet with warranty booklet, COSC Cert, technical notes booklet, warranty registration (supplied by Bremont Direct, 2014) and Sea King card with details of the RAF crew/ pilot who ordered it, along with their last flight. This is also engraved to the case back. The overall condition of this ALT1-C is excellent, with only light signs of use and a new Bremont strap is fitted with steel tang buckle. Of note, The Westland Sea King is one of the most notable Royal Air Force helicopters, retired in 2018, having been utilised in most major posts WW2 conflicts, including the Falklands War, Gulf War, in Afghanistan, Iraq and Bosnia. This special project watch is scarce to find, and worthy of any aviation collection.
