Historics at Brooklands September 2018 | Vintage & Prestige Events

Vintage & Prestige are delighted to be exhibiting again at Historics at Brooklands September 2018 auction as part of our ongoing partnership with viewing taking place between 20th September (10am- 8pm) and 21st September (9am- 5pm) and the auction beginning at 10am on Saturday 22nd September.

At the spiritual home of Motorsport, Brooklands is again host to the Historics at Brooklands auction.

With over 150 cars set to go under the hammer, some of which temptingly with no reserve price, as well as a 1965 Aston Martin DB5 and a selection of Ferrari, Porsche and Lamborghini, there is something for everyone and genuinely where dreams can come true (with adequate reserves or some great luck bidding!)

Vintage & Prestige will be exhibiting a range of select preowned watches and vintage jewellery from the 1950s to present, many of which will mirror the era of the cars which will be auctioned.

Vintage And Prestige Events | Goodwood Revival 2018

Vintage & Prestige will partnering with Renaissance Classic Sports Cars as part of their display of high performance and prestige classic cars at Goodwood Revival between 7th September and 9th September.

As arguably the most high profile classic car event of the year, Goodwood Revival evokes the golden era of motorsport, with a reputed £250 million’s worth of classic racing cars on the grid over the course of the weekend.

Renaissance Classic Sports Cars, based in their incredible Ripley, Surrey showroom, will be exhibiting a range of cars for sale at the event from the 1950s to the present, all of which are with great provenance and in outstanding condition. Renaissance are also the flagship retailer for AC Schnitzer for the South East of England.

Historics at Brooklands 17-19 May 2018 | Vintage & Prestige Events

Vintage & Prestige are delighted to support and exhibit at Historics at Brooklands Auction of classic cars which is being held at the auction’s original location: Brooklands Museum.

Viewing will take place on Thursday 17th May 2018 10am until 8pm (late night viewing) and Friday 18th May 2018 (10am til 6pm) with the auction beginning at 10am on Saturday 19th May 2018 and viewing commencing at 9am . Vintage & Prestige are excited to support this auction, with a whopping 177 cars, motorbikes (and a Lamborghini tractor!) set to go under the hammer. Vintage & Prestige will be displaying a hand picked selection of fine watches and luxury accessories throughout the viewing days and the auction.

Amongst these cars and motor cycles due to go under the hammer, ranging from pre-war to modern classics, there will be something for every car enthusiast, including a selection of poster worthy Porsche 911 Turbos, rare Aston Martins, Ferrari, Rolls-Royce, Mercedes-Benz, as well as a trio of incredibly rare Listers. There are a number of vehicles being offered without reserve which could also make for a prudent bid or two.

Showcasing some curated pieces to mirror some of the auctions’ highlights including:

There will also be a selection of gift ideas within our accessories display, ideally timed for the countdown to Christmas, and without the high street shopping crowds!

As always, Historics have a superb choice of classic cars set to go under the hammer; some of the highlights in this sale including a virtually unused Lamborghini Diablo as well as a 1920s Blower Bentley. Accordingly, Vintage & Prestige will be offering a range of watches from the decades of these cars to include a select number of:

Art deco and pre WW2 watches, perfectly matching the glamour and excitement of the Blower Bentley.

The choice of Mercedes SL and Rolls Royce is wide, and matched by some 1970s cocktail watches.

For the 1980s enthusiast, a DeLorean or Testarossa are instantly recognisable. Whilst the Casio Calculator, as worn by Michael J Fox won’t be for sale, there will have some Miami Vice era Rolex.

Similarly, limited production cars such as the Ligier, Tickford and AMG will be matched by limited edition watches and accessories.

The auction will take place on Saturday 25th November.
Viewings will be on Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th November.

Vintage And Prestige Events are delighted to be exhibiting at Historics at Brooklands Autumn Auction of classic cars and motorcycles at their spiritual home, Brooklands Museum. The Auction viewing will take place on Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd September with the auction commencing on Saturday 23rd September.

Following our first collaboration at Ascot Racecourse, in May this year, we witnessed the clear synergy between classic car enthusiasts and vintage watches, and will look forward to basing ourselves in arguably the historical home of British motorsport for a few days this Autumn.

Historics have successfully established themselves at Brooklands since the auction house’s inception. This auction really offers something for every enthusiast, incredibly curating in excess of 160 cars and motorbikes to go under the hammer.

The Historics team’s enviable knowledge of the market saw some splendid results at Brooklands earlier this year, and this time they’ve assembled a range of modern, prestige and vintage cars to entice even the choosiest of collector.

We look forward to seeing a number of classic Mercedes, Jaguar and Ferrari go under the hammer as well as some memory lane fast Fords, as well as a motorbike by Maserati. Should overnight accommodation be a concern, there is also a simply divine vintage motorhome on offer.

Vintage & Prestige will be exhibiting a select number of wristwatches from our collection, all of which will be for sale throughout the viewing and auction. We will be focussing predominantly on watches which come from the eras of the cars on offer, with a particular emphasis on “Modern Classics” given the number of amazing entries from the 1980s to present. Vintage & Prestige Events | Ascot May 2017

In May 2017, at Ascot racecourse, Vintage & Prestige partnered with Historics at Brooklands, the classic car auctioneer, to display a range of select watches and accessories.

This was the first time that Historics had held an auction at Ascot, arguably the most prestigious racecourse in the United Kingdom. With 174 classic cars and motorcycles going under the hammer, and an impressive sale rate, there really was something for everyone. From early Daimlers through to modern classics, and a tempting range of all star classics, such as Aston Martin V8s, DB6 (in “barn find” condition) as well as the loveliest Jaguar XK imaginable. There was also a strong offering of E Typer Jaguars and some stunning Ferrari from across the ages.

It would be hard to imagine a more stunning setting for one of our Vintage & Prestige events, and as workplaces go, this takes some beating. In our three large display cabinets, we displayed a range of watches from the past sixty years, mirroring the wonderful cars which we were surrounded by. We were delighted to receive visits from existing Vintage & Prestige customers and friends, as well as meeting many new. We experienced a strong level of interest in what arguably best partners vintage cars, our watches, as well as selling some vintage jewellery and collectors handbags; our clients recognising the value that pre-owned offers over new. We hope these gifts were well received, and feedback certainly demonstrates so.

It has taken a little time for V&P to report back on this successful event, but the memory remains strong, and the write ups in the classic car press fed back favourably. We have attached a couple of images from the event, and those that follow us on twitter, instagram and Facebook may recall these being posted in real time.

We do wish to thank all of our visitors, those who came to purchase or to meet us and learn about us. Equally thank you to those who came to ask for appraisals, and an understanding of the market we operate in. We hope we were helpful and we are very happy to offer these advices wherever and whenever time allows. This was a particularly busy event for us and we hope we were able to see all of those who kindly came to see us.
