IWC Ingenieur SL Automatic Graph Paper 3505

Our very rare IWC Ingenieur SL Automatic reference 3505 features a 34mm stainless steel case with stainless steel integrated bracelet. This reference is also known as the "Skinny". Notably this is an early example of the SL, with the most desirable grey graph paper "Swiss" only dial, and centred bezel. The overall condition of this Ingenieur is very good (we consider unpolished) and with only light signs of use overall, the bracelet showing little to no stretch. There is coeval patina to the dial making for an attractive appearance. Neither box nor papers are included, an IWC service pouch is present (with degradation to the cushion) , we date manufacture to c.1984. Notably, it is widely understood that only around 800 pieces of this reference (with black, white and the sought after grey graph) dial were produced between 1983 and 1985, making this one of the rarest vintage IWC. This would make a worthy addition to any serious collection. The bracelet as shown will fit up to a c.160mm wrist, with the two spare links fitted, up to c.180mm.
