Our vintage J.W. Benson features a 9k yellow gold 32mm case (inc crown) and powered by a manually wound movement. The dial has lovely patina, and a new leather strap is fitted. A presentation watch, the caseback is engraved for 40 years loyal service by Bryan Donkin Co.: year 1953 Of note, Bryan Donkin created the first continuous paper making machine, the company specialising in civil engineering, based in Chesterfield Derbyshire. J.W. Benson was a notable London silversmith, goldsmith and watchmaker.
