This vintage Rolex Oyster Perpetual Lady was retailed in 1996 with a W* serial. This example is in outstanding condition and comes with a Rolex box and original papers. Time tested and functioning perfectly. The black “Explorer†style dial contrasts superbly with the steel case and Oyster bracelet, neither of which show signs of much wear. This example offers excellent value for money.

History
The Rolex Oyster was the model which put Rolex on the map. Being the first waterproof wristwatch, the model features (and still does) a screw-down crown which assures water resistance. Used by the first cross channel swimmer, subsequently and cleverly advertised this model found immediate popularity for its attractive and timeless looks coupled to a highly durable case and bracelet. The lady Perpetual is arguably the most practical ladies watch available.
