This vintage Rolex Day Date 18038 is dated 1983 and has a lovely champagne colour dial. This example is the single quick set vacant which means the date can be set via the crown. Our example of the classic Rolex Day-Date is presented in excellent condition and comes with a handmade Jean Rousseau green leather strap (although this can be changed if desired) and Rolex gold plated tang buckle. Recently serviced by a Rolex trained watchmaker, this watch has additionally been time tested satisfactorily. Rolex Day-Dates are extremely popular right now and this particular example represents excellent value for money. At sale, our watch comes with a V&P presentation box.

History
The Rolex Day-Date is also known as the President as it has been seen on the wrist of many US Presidents over the years. Numerous CEOS, film stars, sports personalities, luminaries and celebrities have also favoured the Day-Date and the model is still to this day seen as the pinnacle of the Rolex range. Day-Dates have recently seen a spike in popularity on both gold (yellow, white and rose) bracelets as well as on leather straps. We consider this model to be the most practical dress watch available as it can also be worn day to day.
