This exceptionally rare and unusual pre-owned Rolex Day Date reference 18248 is presented in outstanding condition, and retains the original green sticker on the case back. This Rolex Day-Date is the double quick set model, meaning the date and day wheel can be changed independently. The bezel and bracelet are barked yellow gold, and exhibits little sign of use. Originally retailed in 1989, with a L*** serial, our Rolex Day-Date comes complete with original papers, swing tag, box and outer box. The original gold dial sits beautifully against the 18k yellow gold case and bracelet. There is no sign of stretch to the bark bracelet and the watch is original and unpolished.

History
The Rolex Day-Date is also known as the President as it has been seen on the wrist of many US Presidents over the years. Numerous CEOS, film stars, sports personalities, luminaries and celebrities have also favoured the Day-Date and the model is still to this day seen as the pinnacle of the Rolex range. Day-Dates have recently seen a spike in popularity on both gold (yellow, white and rose) bracelets as well as on leather straps. We consider this model to be the most practical dress watch available as it can also be worn day to day.
