This L** serial preowned Rolex Submariner reference 5513 is from the final year of this reference's production and is presented in excellent condition. The gloss black dial sits beautifully under the domed perspex giving this watch a stunning vintage appearance. Time tested and functioning perfectly. The bracelet and case have been polished. This watch was originally retailed by famous Rolex dealer John Bull in Nassau, Bahamas, making it an ideal addition to a James Bond fan's collection.

History
Introduced in 1953, the Submariner is undeniably the most recognisable Rolex product. Originally designed for deep sea diving, the Submariner has a committed following for its elegant style combined with a robust case. Arguably, the 5513 reference is the most faithful of the later incarnations and is known best as the James Bond Rolex, as worn by Roger Moore in Live and Let Die and Man with the Golden Gun. The turnable bezel is a tool for measuring time whilst under water (or parking meters) and the oversized crown adds extra impermeability to the screw down feature which defines the oyster models. This model is fitted with a flip lock divers extension to the bracelet to enable to watch to be worn over a wetsuit.
