Our stunning, rare and vintage Breitling Navitimer, reference 7806 is also known as the Breitling Navitimer Date or the "Twin Plane". The logo features two planes as would be expected of this period of Breitling and this model is notable not least for its scarcity but as the first Navitimer to features a date function in addition to a chronograph. The condition of our example is outstanding, and is presented original and unpolished. The dial and hands match and have great patina. The manual wound Valjoux 7740 movement operates perfectly. Fitted to a dark brown quality strap, our example dates from 1973 with a case serial 14**.*** and defies it's age. Given the interest in vintage chronographs, we feel our example has excellent investment potential as well as being a superb vintage wearer.
